Loading & Unloading Vessels

From our dockside, we load and unload raw plates and machined plates in all conceivable sizes. The water depth is 7.2 meters (even up to 11 meters at our neighbouring quay) and can be accessed by all common freight coasters.

Our harbour crane at the dockside handles items with a weight up to 90 tonnes. The entire storage area is covered by a series of magnetic gantries which quickly, safely and effectively transport plates to the different locations within our huge outdoor facilities. Inside the factory, all handling is also carried out by large capacity gantries.

The storage area takes up more than 15,000 m² and has room for at least 50,000 tonnes of steel. The distance from stock to dockside is less than 15 meters enabling discharging and loading of the ships to be carried out directly from the stockyard.
